My father's parents. Early 1900's. I thought I should start my 100 posts about my father with something about his parents. Today a photo, tomorrow some basic information.
Ok, Kristin. I've got the cigar, the cap, your lovely grandmother on his arm. But what is he holding in his right hand? It looks for all the world like a stick with some fabric attached at the top.

ReplyDeleteI used to think he was holding a flag but it doesn't really look like a flag. I don't know what it is.
ReplyDeleteI also thought that he was holding a flag that was rolled around the stick.
ReplyDeleteI thought so at first but it doesn't seem like enough stripes. I need to blow it up.
