The story of my family gathered from documents, photographs and their own words.
One nerves knows, do one! Eh!keep it coming!gem!
Whoever it is, they're both such evocative photos. The first is truly breathtaking - all winter with it's play of light. Wonderful, Kristin. Makes me wish I could do an oil painting.
these should be framed with a very wide matte to let these breath to their full potential.i see these piles of photographs reveal more gems...good for you!!:)~HUGZ
They are just little snapshots. I was thinking of blowing them up and then framing.
that is specifically why i was suggesting a wide matte, a double matte actually, so the focus would be on the picture itself instead of competing with a frame standing too close to the picture itself. hung at eye level, people could enjoy them in their original state. surely a professional framer would have samples to show you what it would look like. sometimes, bigger is not always better. i'm just saying...:)~HUGZ
My daughter advices me on my framing so I will consult her before moving forward. You're right. sometimes a small, well framed photo or print is perfect.
hoping to see the final result.... that would be such a lovely homage to the past.:)~HUGZ
