Montgomery Alabama Wedding, 1911 - Wordless Wednesday

"My Wedding Day, June 7th 1911"
This photograph was taken in Montgomery, Alabama. Victor Tulane (my uncle by marriage) is on the porch - 2nd from the left, looking right at us.  His daughter, Naomi was is in the wedding party and is the second little girl from the right in the front.  I wonder who the bride was.  She looks so happy.

  1. Kristin, would you ever consider posting these photographs extra large? This is a stunning photo. It begs to be enlarged and fallen into. All the faces, the postures, the family feeling, people just happy to be in that place together. I love this image. I always enlarge your images for full effect and I wonder about the people who don't, what they might be missing.

  2. Angella, when I try to post them extra large, they bleed over into the other column. Maybe I should mention that they can be seen better if blown up more often. My files are much larger.

  3. maybe you can increase the width of the column in templates. it would be under "adjust column widths." just a thought. your images are truly amazing and rich family artifacts.
